Okay, so saturday is market day in Othertown, so I went there this morning with the intention to buy a brow pencil and some cold process soap, considering there's a new shop that sells these, and at first I thought: "yay!!" But.

First when I went to the beauty institute and said: "I'd like to buy a brow pencil" cause that's why I was there, and certainly not the recieve a lesson in make up, no thank you!! The owner started to lecture me on HOW I DO MY BROWS... WTH? I should have left. I should have left immediately. Who on Earth did she think she was, this old and ugly bitch, unable to comprehend that not everyone wants to look like her? Gosh, and she even did my brows!!! I didn't want to, but i wanted to see the shade, if it looked similar to mine. I should have DEMANDED to do it on my own. That way I would have seen that her products were rubbish. Stuff is so greasy you can wipe it all off with your thumb. I intend to go back and ask her to pay me back, since the one I bought is still in the packaging. I can't use that shit.

And then onto soap. The dude wanted to tell me about cold process soap. As if I didn't know! I told him I knew. Four times. But he wanted to tell the story, apparently. I started to loose patience. He pissed me off and the soaps he was selling had so little essential oils in them thay were all dry and smelled as faded as regular soap. He could say all he wanted, but I'm no fool. I left. He can sell his speech (and square shit) to other poeple. I can't believe this guy found a way in less than three minutes to disregard Lush, the british brand of cosmetics that uses only natural fresh products and safe synthetic ones. Lush fights against animal testing, organises fair trade arrangements in places in the world where it's actually DANGEROUS for them, because they think it has to be done. What does this guy fights for? NOTHING. But yeah, Lush's shampoo lathers, SO IT HAS TO BE BAD, RIGHT?

The point of this post is: No more Mister Nice Guy! From now on when someone starts to lecture me or annoy me, I'll let them know. That's the problem when you're patient and your voice is low, poeple have no esteem for you. Even if you don't want to start a fight, think: you didn't start it. When someone is being rude, stop them immediately, don't let them impress you. I've made that mistake countless times but now I think i'm waking up. Slowly, gradually. It's time to speak up.
