I'm sorry I haven't been here lately. It obviously wasn't a good sign. Time I spend away from drawing is time I spend being depressed. So, nothing's fixed, I'm still depressed, I need professional help for sure. I don't have enough money for therapy though XD

BUT! There's one thing I need to do asap, and it's pretty obvious: I need to art again. I need to post more. Online support, the community, being productive, all of that matters a lot to me, and it helps me. So I'm not proud of my recent work, by any means, but I'm still gonna post it, cause I need some things to just move forward.

I just deleted about a hundred of my drawings. I haven't done this very often since I started using deviantart (7 years ago!!!) and honestly, sometimes I was really embarassed when something old and ugly was recommended to poeple who were discovering my art now. I still kept a lot of old things, but nothing I actually hate, which I think is healthy. It also feels more respectful to my new watchers. It's like cleaning the house for my guests. I also want to start looking towards the future, and have my gallery presentable enough for when I turn more professional.

However, I know that as watchers sometimes we get attached to artworks, no matter the quality. And when artists do massive purges like that, we can loose stuff we liked. If it happened to you and you want me to send you a drawing in particular, I will do that. I seriously doubt anyone would want that, but just know you can ask if you want to.

Here's a controversial show. Ever since Netflix released the second season, I've seen lots of really negative critiques poping up from everywhere. So because I loved season 1, I started watching season 2 anyway, but didn't expect much. I saw the whole season, and now I wonder. Wtf are poeple complaining about? The show was good, and stayed good. Obviously the rythm can't be the same than it was in season 1 beacause it can't be "one tape, one episode". They still covered some very interesting issues, and while we don't find every character likeable, it was also that way in season one, so really, I don't get it. I stand by that show, even if it's somehow super popular these days to bash on it. I think poeple need to understand that just because a character has issues and is a victim of something, they don't become "good" because of it. Season two showed that a lot.  Hanna was a victim but we learn she was also a bully. Jessica is a victim but she's definitely not likeable, or responsible. Clay is in a lot of pain but he's controlling and a downer and he's clearly going crazy. Alex sure suffers too but can be annoyingly superficial at times. Jessica doen't have to be "the most accurate representation" of a raped girl, Alex doesn't have to be "the most accurate representation" of a handicaped teen, jeez let these characters be just characters, they evolve in an extremely toxic environment and their flaws are forgivable. It's not like Liberty High is the most realistic school in the first place (I mean, everyone is hot, that's a dead giveaway!!!)  so why are poeple so pissed about the lack of realism NOW? It was there before!

Anyway... 13RW is a good show to watch if you like really dark teen drama. I do. It never betrayed me. It delivered. At the end of season 1 I was shipping Tony x Clay. Now I ship Clay x Justin. Significantly harder that I shipped Tony x Clay. I'm gonna do fanarts about them. I hope we can share our love for this show here in this safe place, cause the outside seems weirdly hostile at the moment.
