(Title in german, means: I will wait.)

This couple is practically never represented in Hetalia. But in real life, no one can deny there is something between our two countries. Something that is building slowly, carefully, something fragile, yet deep. We can't be enemies anymore. Can we be lovers? We don't know, so we call it friendship, but it isn't. For me it's more, and it's more complicated.

And this is what they say:

Francis sagt: Vorerst bin ich drinnen noch zu beschädigt. Ich liebe dich, aber ich kann dich nicht küssen. Es tut mir Leid.

Ludwig sagt: Keine Sorge, ich verstehe. Ich werde auf dich warten.

(It's in German and it means: )

Francis says: For now I'm still too damaged inside. I love you, but I can't kiss you. I'm sorry.

Ludwig says: Don't worry, I understand. I will wait for you.

This subject (the war, and the relationship between my country and Germany) is something I think about practically everyday, since much before I knew Hetalia. Images of the war I saw in the movies are in my mind and often at night I dream about it, so for me, there's nothing more important than this friendship, as it is officially called. We have things to fix together I think.

I don't really speak German, as you can see so please if you notice I made a mistake, warn me so that I could fix it. But I tried my best to put each word in its right place in the sentences. German grammar was my nightmare when I was taking lessons.

I really wish somebody could write a beautiful story about them. With a little more confidence, they would be happy together, and Ludwig could finally tame Francis and get a kiss
